Confidence, A Student's Testimony

So as you guys know - whether it's because you've seen the ridiculously attractive photos of us, or because you were one of those ridiculously attractive, manly princesses - this course was all about building your confidence and feeling comfortable doing something that doesnt usually come naturally to you (well, not like genocide or anything like that) y'know, like talking to strangers and being able to think on your feet. The two manliest princesses ive ever know, Noot noot and Natalie successfully blagged thier way into making us think they were "Professors of Confidence", I mean, boy, for all we know, Natalie and Noot noot may not even be their real names!

The first week of the unbearably early-morning course was generally about getting to know eachother and breaking the ice, one way being called 'Call My Bluff' where you are given an artistic term and you've never heard of before and a definition that might be right or wrong. You then needed to convince the other teams that your definition is right by being the most expereinced, pretentious art critic EVER.The game not only showed our expert blagging skills but also produced 100% legitamate artists such as 'Theodore Theodroe Jr' (or TJ as he often liked to be called), 'Pierre LaBaguette' and 'French Fry', they're totally real, okay - just dont google them.

But not only did we exercise our top notch blagging skills, we dabbled in the profound art of 'Making Up Stories About Famous People', what we sometime call 'gossip magazines; making up those crazy stories didnt exactly serve us wellthough as we got a taste of our own medicine when we were then asked to make up our own stories based on hillarious rumours, from adult film stars turned geography teahers to the tragic death of the beloved Morgan Freeman, who was dearly missed (until he was spotted in Starbucks last week, that was awkward).

Now yo umay be wondering all sorts of things; like 'What does this have to do with raising my confidence?'Or, Should i buyKFC for lunch tomorrow? And why do baby clothes have pockets on them?'  I mean they're babies, what could they possibly carry in them?! But having the confidence to blag about something you have absolutely nothing about using extravegant lies is just as important as confidence itself, I mean if you can blag about something you know squat about, you can blag about anything. And if you still have self-doubt after this course, just wait until the third blog post. Thats when shit gets real!

CONTEXT -
A Students review from: NO YOUR PLACE
Professors: The NO Collective

The No Collective designed and ran a course that improved the asset of confidence in young people. Using contempoarary art, pop culture and humour as a foundation, the course was over three full days and built confidence through being silly and bold together - by the end completely accepting our oddness as our greatest tool.
